Weather you need equipment for training and competitions of either amateur or professional level – we have solution for any task. The standard length of a competitive pool according to the rules of FINA is 25 or 50 meters. The pool should have 8 or 10 swimming lanes of 2.5 m width each. There are certain rules regarding colours of dividing lines, turning lines and installation of the panels of automatic refereeing equipment. During competitions starting blocks should be equipped with individual starting loudspeakers, sensors of false start and of leg change for relay swimming. This equipment can be removed when the pool is used for therapeutic swimming.
Generally every pool can be considered as «fast» or «slow» depending on its constructional features corresponding the rules of FINA. The construction of the swimming-bath, installation of certain technological and sportive equipment will reduce the water resistance during races enabling swimmers to show best results. These technical features are: optimized depth of the pool, minimization of underwater fl ows, waves overwhelming dividing lines and drips and the use of frontal leaking water starting platforms.
