Sunkar was built in 2010 for the 7th Asian Winter Games, which were held at the highest standard. The jumping complex is open all year round, allowing athletes to train in both winter and summer.

This complex is one of Almaty’s key attractions,facilitating the development of ski jumping, a new sport for Kazakhstan.
