Metalist is Kharkiv’s central stadium. It is used as a home venue for the Ukrainian National Team, as well as for FC Metalist Kharkiv.

The stadium was opened in 1926 and was transformed several times throughout its history. The last of these changes was in 2007-2009, when the stadium was renovated, bringing it into full conformity with UEFA requirements.

The track and field arena surrounding the football field is designed for training purposes only and is not used for competitions.
