The Yunost Stadium shares its location with an Olympic Reserve School of the same name.
The facility was renovated in 2007 to bring it up to international standards. The spectator stands were renovated, the track and field arena flooring replaced and artificial turf was laid on the football field.
AVK GmbH contributed to this process by installing the scoring and timing system.
