AVK GmbH at Austrian stand at Project Qatar 2018 Exhibition, May 7-10th

The Qatar National Vision 2030 and the FIFA World Cup 2022 are major growth drivers for Qatar’s construction industry nowadays. The ongoing implementation of major development projects across sectors (building, hospitality, tourism, transportation, infrastructure, etc.) translate Qatar’s vision. The Qatari construction sector is the fastest growing construction market in the Gulf region, with USD 26 Billion allocated for major projects and accounting for 47% of Qatar’s total 2017 expenditure. In 2015 alone, 60% of Qatar’s imports was construction-related, amounting to a total of USD 19.7 Billion.

Project Qatar is the country’s only business exhibition specialized in construction and all related industries. The show promises fast market penetration into the country’s lucrative construction market, and the opportunity to generate new business leads with companies of all sizes. Project Qatar 2018 is thus a peerless platform, and participation is essential for everyone aiming at seizing a share of Qatar’s arena of opportunities.

During Project Qatar 2018 the representatives of the local community were particularly interested in the business profile of AVK GmbH, since the exhibition took place right before the official launch of FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia. For the current championship AVK GmbH contributed in outfitting two of the main host arenas – St. Petersburg Stadium with the capacity of 67 000 people and Kazan Arena for 45 000 guests.
