Individual talks to Austrian trade diplomats at the Consulting Day in St. Pölten, June 8th, 2018
St. Pölten, the capital and the largest city of the State of Lower Austria, is located only one hour drive from Vienna with A1 highway. The oldest part of the city is built on the site of the ancient Roman city of Aelium Cetium that existed between the 2nd and the 4th century. The name St Pölten is derived from Hippolytus of Rome (one of the most important 3rd-century theologians in Rome and the patron saint of horses). The word “hippodrome” (the horse racing track) takes its origin from his name as well. The city was renamed to Sankt Hippolyt, then St Polyt and finally St Pölten.
Modern St. Pölten doesn’t have much to do with the horses: read more at the city’s official web-portal

On the 8th of June, 2018 a group of Austrian trade commissioners serving for promoting Austrian export worldwide at the Embassies in America, South Asia, Far East and North Africa came to St. Pölten in order to provide free of charge individual consultations to Austrian companies. AVK GmbH, as a company who’s been actively and successfully operating on the foreign markets, had individual talks to the Austrian diplomats from Toronto, Bangkok, New Delhi, Sydney, Singapore, Sao Paolo, Johanessburg and Jakarta. So, which city are we planning to go next?..
