Executive Director of AVK GmbH, Mr. Janis Cimmermanis, Represented the Company at the Business Forum “Austria–Slovenia: Connected for the Future”

On October 23, 2025, AVK GmbH participated in the business forum “Austria–Slovenia: Connected for the Future”, organized by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKÖ).
The event in Vienna brought together representatives from government institutions, industry, and the private sector of both countries to discuss opportunities for bilateral cooperation and joint economic initiatives.
The company was represented by Mr. Janis Cimmermanis, Executive Director of AVK GmbH, who participated in several meetings and discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Austrian and Slovenian businesses.
As part of the forum, a personal meeting between Mr. Cimmermanis and the State Secretary of Slovenia, Mr. Matevž Frangež, took place in Vienna.
During the meeting, AVK GmbH presented its activities, highlighting completed projects, key areas of expertise, and international partnerships.
Special attention was given to the company’s status as an official distributor of Swiss Timing timekeeping and judging systems in Slovenia, as well as to future prospects for technological cooperation in the region.
Additionally, AVK GmbH presented its main fields of work: supply of professional sports equipment, engineering and technical support for sports facilities, and implementation of infrastructure solutions for national federations and municipal bodies.
The company expressed interest in further strengthening partnerships with Slovenian organizations in the fields of sport, technology, and innovative infrastructure.
Participation in the forum became an important step in reinforcing AVK GmbH’s international presence and confirming its reputation as a reliable partner in sports infrastructure and engineering.
