Swiss Timing in the World of Sport
The beginning of 2025 once again confirmed the leadership of Swiss Timing technologies on the world’s major sports arenas.
Swiss Timing systems for timekeeping and video control were used at key winter competitions — from World Cup stages in alpine skiing, luge, and cross-country skiing to European Championships in athletics and track cycling.
In January and February 2025, Swiss Timing served as the official partner of international federations such as FIS, FIL, UEC, and World Athletics, ensuring precision timing and dependable result tracking.
Particular attention was given to the European Indoor Athletics Championships (Apeldoorn, Netherlands) and the European Track Cycling Championships (Heusden-Zolder, Belgium), where the most advanced photo-finish and timing systems were deployed.
As the official distributor of Swiss Timing, AVK GmbH informs its partners and clients about key international events where these technologies continue to set the global standard of precision and reliability.
