Meeting of the Austrian-Turkmen Society

On April 9, 2024 at the invitation of WKÖ the management of AVK GmbH took part in the first meeting of this year of the Austrian-Turkmen Society. The meeting took place at the premises of the company "Waagner Biro steel and glass" in Vienna. The guest of honor at the meeting was the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Austria - H.E. Chemra Amannazarov.

The agenda of the meeting included the following issues:

• Anniversary gift for Neda Berger. Collection of poems.
• Introduction of the old and new members in 2024.
• Presentation of the new members.
• Visit of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister R. Meredov on 11-12. April in Vienna.
• Projects in 2024.
• Recruitment of new members, large companies in Austria and Turkmenistan, into the Society.
• PR on the company's homepage.
• Working with Media in Austria and Turkmenistan.

All participants demonstrated their great commitment to further expand interaction and cooperation with Turkmenistan.

The meeting was held at a very high level, with a lively exchange of views on various possibilities for cooperation.

The need for regular community meetings to discuss possible prospects for interaction between the two countries was once again demonstrated.

Over the 16 years of its existence, the Austrian-Turkmen Society has created a solid foundation, which has become a permanent platform for bilateral and effective cooperation in the cultural and economic spheres between Austria and Turkmenistan.
