Day of the Russian regions in Vienna, Mar 2019

25/03 AVK GmbH took part in one of the most important events 2019 for the Austrian-Russian economic relations: Day of the Russian regions in Vienna organized by WKO (Austrian Economic chamber) and the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in Austria. The Forum covered 17 regions of the Russian Federation (Altai region, Bashkortostan region, Voronezh region, Kaluga region, Republic of Karelia, Leningrad region, Lipetsk region, Moscow, Moscow region, Novgorod region, Sakha republic (Yakutia), Sverdlovsk region, Smolensk region , Tambov region, Republic of Tatarstan, Tomsk region, Ulyanovsk region) and the association of clusters and technology parks. Russian delegation was represented by the Regional Governors and the members of the State Duma, public authorities, universities and 52 companies from the Russian Federation.
There is already no need to explain to the Russian co-speakers who we are: during the last 10 years AVK GmbH successfully realized a number of highest-rank projects across the country. Our Russian-based venues hosted Olympic Games 2014, FIFA World Cup 2018, Ice Hockey World Championship 2016, World Aquatics Championships 2015 and many more. On the territory of the Russian Federation AVK GmbH is the exclusive distributor of the most important and respectful brands in the world of sports: Swiss Timing, Malmsten, Sport System, Seicom, Ges Group and many more.
During the Forum AVK GmbH Vice-President held a round of B2B and B2G talks to three Russian Governors (Novgorod, Tambov and Ulyanovsk regions) and a number of Russian businessmen. Moreover we were happy to meet our good friends from the Austrian business-circles: Russia continues to remain one of the most important strategic partners for Austria and we would be pleased to continue increasing the mutual turnover between our two countries.
