Meeting with the ice hockey superstar Alexei Tereshchenko in Austria Mar 2019

He doesn’t like when someone calls him a legend – and he’s definitely too young and way too energetic for being referred to the good old times only: Alexei Tereshchenko is undoubtedly the present and the future of the world hockey, one of the most entitled athletes, a Russian professional ice hockey forward, 3-times World Champion, 5-times National Champion of the Russian Federation, former key player of top-rank hockey clubs Dynamo Moscow, Ak Bars Kazan and Salavat Yulaev Ufa, currently the super successful captain of HC Dynamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL).
Alexei came to Austria with indeed a very positive and noble mission: in order to share some of his professional secrets & skills with the young Austrian athletes, as well as to cheer for a fair & beautiful sports competition during the two matches between HC KAC Klagenfurt and HC Graz 99ers. The trip became possible due to the personal support from Mr. Dietmar Wuksch, CEO of the Austrian company Cicero Consulting.
AVK GmbH Vice-President was truly honoured to greet Alexei on the Austrian land. We at AVK GmbH made a significant contribution into the creation of the national infrastructure for the ice hockey in Russia, both with such top-rank projects as Yubileyny Sports Palace in St. Petersburg (one of the main venues of the Ice Hockey World Championship) and a number of mass-sports ice arenas being a part of the corporate social responsibility program of one of the key companies on the Russian market.
While having a tete-a-tete cup of coffee before the master-class, we were lucky to get into a live and emotional discussion with Alexei in regards to the current situation in Russian, Belarusian and Austrian hockey & to share our views on the training process and hockey infrastructure in all 3 countries. We sincerely wish Alexei more dizzying victories and resounding reсords, fly high and keep fighting! Such meetings with the easy-going ice hockey world superstars truly warm our hearts and further demonstrate (first of all – to us personally) that we’re moving into the right direction and doing the right things, since business is really not only about making money, but something deeper as well…
