Taekwon-Do Demonstration April 2019

In April 2019 AVK GmbH participated in the First Ever Historical Joint Demonstration of Korean traditional Martial Arts performed by ITF (International Taekwon-Do Federation) together with WT (World Taekwon-do) underlining the real values of sports in the world peace.
The two most important Taekwon-Do associations, ITF and WT jointly presented their interpretation of this martial arts on 5 April at the Vienna Hotel Savoyen. Vienna has been the international headquarters of the ITF since the 1980s. Prof. Ri Yong Son, President of the International Taekwon-Do Federation and Dr. Chungwon Choue, President of World Taekwon-do, gave an introductory speech and re-introduced the different styles. Over a hundred guests from diplomacy, politics and economics marveled at the acrobatic performances of the two teams, which literally did not miss a stone on the other. The highlight of the evening was a joint choreography by ITF and WT, which was honored by the enthusiastic audience with standing ovations.
AVK GmbH performs complex equipping of the sports facilities not only for Taekwon-Do, but also for boxing, judo, karate, aikido etc., such as wrestling mats, tatami mats, dayangs, boxing rings, punching dummies, heavy bags, speed punching bags, boxing pads etc. We guarantee that the equipment supplied by us meet the latest requirements of international sports federations incl. IBF, IJF etc. (in case of necessity). We also operate with the equipment of training level and equipment for public stadiums and arenas (mass sports).
Moreover AVK GmbH personnel is qualified to assist with holding the competitions on Swiss Timing equipment. E.g. in India our specialists had a very successful experience of supporting 2017 AIBA Youth Women’s World Boxing Championships in Guwahati.
