Eastern partnership Business forum 2018

AVK GmbH participated in the “EASTERN PARTNERSHIP BUSINESS FORUM 2018” of the Austrian Presidency of the EU Council, at the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, on 6th December 2018, Vienna, Austria.
The Eastern Partnership (EaP) is a joint initiative involving the EU, its Member States and six Eastern European Partners: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. It aims at building a common area of shared democracy, prosperity, stability and increased cooperation. More trade and investment, facilitated by a favourable business and investment climate, leads to more jobs and higher economic growth, as well as, ultimately, to more prosperity, and thus contributes to a sustainable security of the Eastern partner countries and their populations.
The forum and B2B Matchmaking platform “EaP Business Forum” became an opportunity for representatives of the companies, experts and public institution from EU member states and EU’s six Eastern partner countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, Ukraine) to exchange knowledge and views in various fields.
This conference was organized on the occasion of Austria’s EU Presidency 2018 by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, in partnership with the Austrian Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs and the Austrian Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs.
During B2B matchmaking part of the Forum, AVK GmbH held a round of talks to high-level officials from the Eastern partner countries, foreign diplomats posted in Vienna and representatives of the Austrian public authorities.
