B2B meetings in Venice

Venice is beautiful not only during the summertime – rainy November adds its special flavour to the city’s melancholic atmosphere… AVK GmbH is back to Italy again – this time for the individual meetings with our Italian good friends.
On the territory of Venice municipality many sports facilities exist: from swimming pools and gyms to various indoor/outdoor spaces. The biggest sports facility in Venice is probably Venice itself: its lagoon is a perfect place to practice kayaking, rowing and canoeing (not swimming, of course), all of them are extremely popular sports for locals.
Venice itself has two public swimming pools, one at Sant’Alvise sport centre in Cannaregio district (where there are also gyms) and one on Giudecca island. There are then several private gyms and open spaces where one can practice tennis, football and basketball.
Surprisingly, among sport facilities in Venice there is also a stadium: it is on Sant’Elena island and is home to Venice soccer club (FBC Unione Venezia).
