AVK GmbH participated in the bilateral forum between the public authorities of Moscow region and Austrian business circles. The high-level event took place in Vienna in the premises of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce (WKO). Russian delegation was headed by the Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government and cordially welcomed by His Excellency the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Austria.
“In business relations between Russia and Austria, energy cooperation is traditionally a powerful pillar. But this is not the limit, we cooperate well in the field of developing the infrastructure of modern technologies, and in general, Austrian investors are actively working in the Russian market, including the Moscow region, - said the Ambassador. - We have a lot of areas of overlapping interests”.
The Ambassador also stressed that regional business cooperation plays a special role in the development of relations between the two countries.
"We are pleased that it is precisely these days in Vienna that the presentation of the economic and business potential of the Moscow Region takes place, the visits of such business missions, or as it is called a road show, allow us to show perspectives and possible new directions, discuss the issues that exist, but the main thing is to make new contacts. … This is an interesting conversation for the future, an opportunity to establish direct contacts, which I have no doubt will find their continuation in practical matters and in the interests of the Moscow Region and its inhabitants, ”said the Ambassador.
The foreign trade turnover of the Moscow region with Austria in 2017 amounted to 239.5 million US dollars. About 50 enterprises with the Austrian relation within the areas of construction, production of plastic products, building materials, trade and a number of other areas have been successfully operating in the Moscow Region.
During a number of B2G and B2B talks the representatives of Moscow region were truly fascinated by the results of the super successful actions of AVK GmbH on the territory of the Russian Federation, since the list of our projects realized within the most important sporting events hosted by the Russian Federation speaks for itself: XXII Winter Olympics Sochi 2014, FIFA World Cup 2018, Ice Hockey World Championship Russia 2016, FINA World Championship Kazan 2015 and many more. And – we are definitely not going to stop, the new projects are on its way already!
